Paul Phillips is General Manager of ZRG’s UK & European Interim Solutions & Project Consulting business. He works closely with colleagues across ZRG’s global platform to deliver fully integrated talent solutions that address clients’ immediate and long-term Talent needs. With over 25 years of experience in Executive Interim Management and Contract Recruitment, Paul has a strong track record of placing high-calibre interim leaders across all functions and sectors. He has partnered with private equity investors, chairs, and CEOs to deliver transformative leadership talent that drives growth, enables change and creates enterprise value. Paul’s focus today is on senior interim leadership appointments—including Interim Executive Chair, CEO and COO for sponsor-backed organisations across the UK and Europe. His expertise supports boards and investors in navigating critical transitions, performance improvement and value creation initiatives. 

Experience

Paul began his career as a specialist in Contract Finance & Accounting recruitment before moving into Executive Interim Management with a leading UK provider. Over seven years, he led practices across Industrial, Business, and Support Services, before taking responsibility for the firm’s Private Equity client relationships and business development strategy. He joined ZRG Partners to expand and lead its Interim Solutions and Project Consulting capability across Europe, integrating this offering with ZRG’s wider Executive Search and Talent Advisory practices.

Paul holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and English Language from Kingston University, London (2:1).
